Though she tried to keep the truth from him, Patrick found out and eventually proposed. Their wedding was cut short, however, when Robin went into labor and delivered their baby girl, Emma. The proud parents finally tied the knot the day after Christmas. As their relationship continued to fracture, Patrick slept with Lisa Niles , who quickly became dangerously obsessed with him. She concocted all kinds of crazy schemes to eliminate Robin, but thankfully failed and was ultimately locked up.

Eventually, Robin and Patrick found their way back to each other and she was even was appointed chief of staff at General Hospital. Later, it was revealed that she was being held captive by Duke Lavery , who was actually Cesar Faison in an elaborate mask! Jerry trapped Anna and Robert to force Robin to cure the disease that was threatening to kill him! After the villains were defeated, Robin rushed to the church where Patrick was marrying Sabrina Santiago and reunited with her family.

Later, Robin was contacted by Victor Cassadine , who wanted her to revive Helena and Stavros, offering her the chance to bring Jason back to life as well. But Helena caught up to Robin and forced her to lie to Patrick and Anna that she was moving to Paris.

Eventually, Patrick and Emma feared Robin was in danger and began looking for her. Jerry was holding her prisoner again and forcing her to continue refining her research that brings back the dead.

Later on Nikolas arrives and sees Faison holding Robin at gunpoint and threatening her. Nikolas threatens Faison by saying if he did something to Robin he would kill him. Robin tries to leave to get the cure for Jerry at General Hospital but Faison orders her not to.

Britt decides to go instead. Nikolas then goes inside the catacombs in search of Obrecht. Faison then locks Robin inside a room and goes back to the catacombs. In the catacombs Nikolas sees both Duke and Obrecht and tries to set them free, until Faison arrives and knocks Nikolas out. Meanwhile both Robert and Anna along with Jerry go to Luke's hotel room and they ask Luke what happened.

Luke tells them that he saw Robin alive and they go back to Wyndemere but not before they handcuffed Jerry to the bed. When arriving at Wyndemere all three go in search of Robin, Faison, and Obrecht. Back in the catacombs Obrecht manages to set herself free and grabs the gun off the floor and threatens to kill Duke, but before she can Anna arrives and stops her.

Anna decides to put down the gun and tells Obrecht to shoot her and not Duke. Before Obrecht can shoot Anna, Duke manages to break free and grab Obrecht. They then retie Obrecht up. Robert breaks inside a room and find Robin who is happy to see him.

In the meantime Luke confronts Faison and shoots him. Faison pretends to lay dead and then attacks Luke and holds him at gunpoint. Moments later Anna arrives and sees Robin alive and the family of three have a happy reunion.

Duke Lavery arrives moments later and sees Robin and they are both happy to see one another. Robin informs Anna about Patrick getting married, and Anna tells Robin to go to the wedding to find Patrick before it's too late.

If she was truly dead, it was reported last month she is still on the set shooting. Maybe that is why the exposion was done as bad as it was. They had to make it look like that so we believe she was alive. No, I never thought she died. If anything, I would have been surprised if she really was gone. Have been watching her since day 1: It was the rgt thing to do, invest in the character and reveal her to be alive. Leaves alot of prospects open—for her to come back if she misses the role so much or if GH ends or if Jason Thompson decides to leave in a few yrs, they can be reunited and ride off into the sunset together.

Def a character not to close the door on! Anything that will keep GH going I am all for. I am going to take the opposite view and say i wish Robin was dead on the show for 2 reasons which are i want people on GH that really want to be on the show and even if they wanted Robin to disappear they could have come up with a lot better plan then what they did which had such a large hole in its execution that you could drive a 18 wheeler through it.

It leaves the door open for Kim to come back and I hope one day she will. Robin is one of the best female characters this show has. I know at any point Kim could decide to come back and I could have Robin again.

That makes me happy. There was so much emotion between JnR the last couple months with the new writers. They allowed something that the previous regime had steadily ignored for years. When and if Kim ever decides to come back I hope they will follow that through and we will see Jason and Robin together again.
